The Town Mill community are delighted to welcome a brand-new tenant who opens her exciting new venture on Friday 10th February.
Occupying part of what used to be the mill’s shop, ‘Kate’s Kitchen’ is the newest addition to the Town Mill family of artisans. ‘Kate’ is Jane Bard, a volunteer and former Trustee of the Town Mill whose combined passion for the mill and cookery and her experience in retail management has led her to set up her own business.
Kate’s Kitchen is a tribute to all things homemade, local and delicious. A bakery and deli, it is here you will find a range of food items to take away; from Moore’s Dorset Knobs and Clipper Teas to artisanal breads baked by Jane herself with Town Mill flour and honey from her own bees. Jane will also be running cookery courses and intends to start with a ‘Valentine’s Biscuit’ making day on Thursday 16th February and a ‘Mother’s Day Cupcake’ decorating day on Sunday 26th March.
