HOW TO FIND US
By train: The nearest station is Axminster, which is 15 minutes by taxi or 30 minutes by bus.
By Bus: First Bus, route X51, runs between Axminster and Dorchester. The X53 (First Bus) Jurassic Coast bus runs between Axminster and Weymouth. The 378 (AVMT Buses) runs between Seaton & Lyme Regis (no Sunday service).
By road: The Town Mill is in the centre of Lyme Regis DT7 3PU
There is no public parking at the mill, so the site is best approached on foot. However, the mill is only a few minutes’ walk from several car parks.
From the Woodmead Car Park on Hill Road, walk down the hill to the bridge over the River Lym and turn right onto the path between the river and the millstream. This Riverside Walk leads you straight to us.
From the Broad Street Car Park, use the steps at the back of the car park to walk straight over the footbridge into the Town Mill courtyard.
To avoid the footbridge and steps: follow Broad Street to the traffic lights at the bottom. Turn left into Coombe Street and continue for about 250 yards. Then take the first left into Mill Lane and you’ll see The Town Mill straight ahead.
